Scheduling policies for the past

We are a little unsure how this works.

What do we need to do to schedule a policy for the past.

For example, we want to push an application to Michael J. Fox back on July 3, 1985.

The schedule drop down does not appear to accommodate the requirement (only goes back to 2000):

Is there a way to (Apple)script this criteria?

Wait, we might have someone on staff who knows AppleScript...hmmm....

@mm2270 LOL...basically wondering if this is a GUI mistake or oversight. Or, maybe its there for a future (or past) feature?

Heh. Yah, I had a feeling that was a facetious way to ask why the schedule goes back to 2000. AFAIK, it's always gone back that far, ever since they first introduced policies, and maybe even before that with some other parts of the product.

If I had to take a guess, maybe it's an homage to the year the Mac OS X Public Beta was released? (September 13, 2000)
(Yes, it's hard to believe, but in just a little over a week our beloved OS will be old enough to vote!)

Either that or 2000 was just a nice round number. :)

Or is it a nod to the Y2K debacle! (for those old enough to remember)
