I was wondering if anyone can confirm the same thing I am seeing. Com.apple.sreensaver.byhost, I have moduleName/modulePath set to Flurry & /System/Libarary/Screen Savers/Flurry.saver, which is applied at User Level at Next Login Only. However, every time I login the settings get reapplied instead of just the one time. I was told this was a bug back in 7.31, just wanted to see if anyone else is seeing this as still broken under 8.0.
