Scripting file associations

Hi-

Does anyone have a handy script that will change file associations? I’ve got some users that have Excel associated with their VM’s Excel instead of their host Excel and would like to easily change it for them.

The association is being made by your VM software, not the Finder. For

If you wanted to managed this with MCX then I believe the correct .plist
file would be ~/Library/Preferences/com.parallels.Parallels Desktop.plist.

Thought about that, but disabling that setting in my VM does not change the
open with in the Finder. :(
