As of this week our MAC estate have started getting the above error on self service launch.
Running CheckJSSConnection the connection is available.
We have removed the Self Service app and both the public/private key from KeyChain.
Reading the com.jamfsoftware.jamf jss_url the server is correct.
MAC OS version 12.1 and 12.3 // JamfPro
We have a call raised but no response yet. Any ideas welcome. Thanks.

It is a known issue with JAMF which was triggered by a version update to 10.36.1.
if there is a malformed configuration profile published to self service then it will kill self service.
Try the following: Create a group with a couple of test devices and remove the configuration profiles. If self service comes back then gradually enable them one at a time until the problem re-occurs and you have your issue.

We have the same issue with one M1-Mac since macOS 12.3. Delete all SelfService related data and reinstalling it like mentioned, didn't help. We are running the latest JSS 10.36.1.

Currently, only one Mac is affected with this SelfService MDM bug. The error existed with version 10.36.0, 10.36.1 and still exists with 10.37.0.
It did not help to remove all configuration profiles (I've tried it according the method you've mentioned). Another user on the same Mac can open SelfService without error, regardless of the computer profiles (we do not have user level profiles).

We have the same situation. We can resolve it wit Remove MDM Profile and again enrolling Mac over web browser. But connection error occurs again after update from macOS 12.2.1 to 12.3.1.
