Hi All
How is something simple to answer. I've started to packages to self service and I want the users to be able to see them, but I want to restrict users from installing some of the apps. Is there an option where i can block them from clicking on it and installing the app?

You need to change the scope of the Self Service policies to do this. There is no native way to publish something in Self Service and then not allow users to run the policy. That's kind of the nature of Self Service - generally speaking, if it shows up in the app for them, they can run it, so what you're asking for would be the antitheses of what it was designed for.
But again, if you adjust the Scope selections for the Self Service policies, just like any other policy, it will only show up for the Macs you've added to see it, whether that's by Smart Groups, Static Groups, individual Macs, Network Segments, LDAP information, whatever.
