Setup Assistant without renaming

We have been using a pre-stage image to image several new machines for staff, during which time we have set the Computer name to reflect our school asset tags. Unfortunately, when the machine is finished and runs the user through the setup assistant, it renames the computer. How can I retain the computer name but still allow the end user to set up their local account with setup assistant?

When you setup your inventory policy check "reset computer name" in the advanced tab. I'd have to test it, but there are a lot of other ways to force that down... or rather prevent the JSS from picking up the new name. You are going to have to do some testing there.
