Smart Computer Group, Adding To Site

I've set up Smart Computer Groups for each of my company's distribution centers with a simple criteria --- if Building is DC01 then add to the Smart Group named DC01. The Smart Group is then set to add each computer to a particular Site, also similarly named. The problem is that's not happening. Is there something I'm missing here?

So, you want to use a Smart Group to add a client to a specific site?

Yes. If possible, it seems like an easy way to accurately keep assets in different Sites.

Just assign the smart group to that specific site

Hey there- I've done exactly that, yet no computers that match the criteria (see image two) populate in the Smart Groups.c59478535231408a81b263313589f3a6

Is the computer account actually assigned to that building? I am doing this through DEP where it assigns a building to the accounts during enrollment.

I've been manually assigning computers to buildings using the "User and Location" tab.16dc428ba3fb43038eaa6bef42b4ab5b

If you do an advanced search with that criteria do you get any results?

Ah... I did an advanced search with that criteria and just got 0 results.

So, is there any reason these devices aren't appearing in Smart Groups or advanced searches even though I've manually added the building to their profiles?
