So I may not have had enough coffee yet, but am I missing something or is there no way to create a smart computer group based on machines that have a specific profile? We are working on moving to EAP-TLS for wireless, and with that, I am pushing out a profile with the AD cert info and wireless settings. This works well, but I need to then run a script I wrote to remove certain other networks, which I was hoping to limit to machines that already have the profile...

Although there isn't a built-in method to report on which computers have received a specific profile we can create an extension attribute to do the job for us. Check out this thread for more info:

Thanks Sam, that should help me out...its kind of too bad that this isnt in there....does the MDM framework used on OSX not support reporting like it does in iOS?

The frameworks are very different, but I don't believe it's a limiting factor. Probably just an oversight when the implementation of OSX configuration profiles became available with Casper. It looks like there is a similar feature request already posted here.
