Hi
I'm trying to enable snmp so that I can add it to Solarwinds.
Currently running Lion Server
After making the conf file
and run the following as root
/usr/sbin/snmpd
I get the following error
dyld: Library not loaded: /usr/lib/libnetsnmpagent.15.dylib Referenced from: /usr/sbin/snmpd Reason: image not found
Can only help at all?
Thanks
Abz

It's a great tool for configuring SNMP on XServes, and it's free.

sudo snmpconf -i is the best way to config snmpd on a mac. Then use the proper launchdaemon to enable it: /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/org.net-snmp.snmpd.plist
