Our office utilizes Cisco ISE for network Authentication.
We are having Trouble getting a mobileConfig Profile to work at logon.
We have Sophos Encryption 7 both Disk and File for Macs running OS X 10.10.x
We got Sophos to not pass-through user creds to the local account, that's fine.
We got the user authentication to be name/Password not a list or icon to be clicked..
Where we are stuck is that at the local account logon, we expect to see a drop-down of Thunderbolt Ethernet, or USB Ethernet or Wi-Fi.
We see it fine if we log onto the local user account and log off. Then it displays fine.
But at a Machine restart, we log into Sophos, then see the local User logon window.. But no Dropdown...
If we log onto the user, then log off, it's there..
We have been trying to use:
sudodefaults write /Library/Preferences/com.apple.loginwindow StartupDelay -int 5
sudodefaults write /Library/Preferences/com.apple.loginwindow StartupDelayForced -bool YES
But whenever we restart, Sophos logs in fine, but the local user account will not show that dropdown we are expecting.. We even tried setting the delay to 120 instead of 5.
Do you have any ideas that might get the local user account logon window to delay for a bit to get the dropdown we are expecting to show up?
I understand it's not a Sophos issue, but maybe you have come across this before..
A machine without Sophos on it displays the dropdown just fine, works perfect. No StartupDelay needed
Thanks..
