Startup script after second reboot on a new build

I use the DEPNotify script on enrollment for our new builds. It does a great job and almost does what we need. After the build we have a post install that has to run after the first reboot. How can I have something similar run just after the first reboot? My goal is for the user to not see their desktop and have the script start and take up the entire screen, just like the DEPNotify does. Would a login trigger do this? I was thinking about creating a smart group that will see that the DEPNotfiy script finished. So that would trigger the script to run on next login. I'm just not sure how fast that trigger works. I dont want the user to start working or doing something and a few min later the script starts. Any idea's how to make that start as soon as they log in for the very firs time?
