Is there a way in 10.13 to suppress the admin prompt for a standard user?
I'm not talking about allowing admin tasks to run without authentication. We simply want the macOS to not prompt or at the most indicate to the user via a dialog box that they don't have admin privileges and can't do that task BUT not prompt them to supply the admin credentials.
I tried Parental Controls but still get prompted if for instance I open System Preferences and try to access something that requires authentication.
The Guest User account in our case is not a solution due to it deleting files on logout. TIA.
