About a couple of months ago, our security team wanted to install SEP on our mac devices since our devices did not have any anti-virus software on them. Knowing the history between Mac devices and the software, the SEP team told our security team that there were no problems with the newest version of SEP with Macs. We had a test pilot with one of our Mac labs and our entire department. There were no reported issues. With a successful test pilot, we deployed SEP across our campus about a month ago. There were no reported issues in the beginning. This past week, we have received several tickets and complains that SEP has been freezing or slowing down users’ machines.
We are not sure what changed or why this is happening.

We currently have SEP version 14.0.3876.1100 installed; however, I just received the new version (version 14.2.758.0000) and will be testing it on my machine.

Any ideas? Also, is there a way to disable SEP without un-installing it?
