Temporarily disable or remove Mac Applications

Hello all,

I'm searching for a solution where Jamf IT Managers can temporarily disable the use of certain Mac Applications. Ideally with a schedule option where time/date can be set for the App to being available, or a "disable for 24 hours" option or simply some sort of quick on-off 'switch'. We also would like this to be set for certain users, or via static/smart groups.

Any suggestions?

A Restricted Software record scoped to your static/smart groups would probably be the way to go here. There unfortunately aren't scheduling options baked right in to the Jamf Pro UI, but you can use the API and a daemon to do some automated scheduling stuff. As an example, have a daemon execute a script that is doing an API call to add a static group to the scope of the Restricted Software record.
