Hello-
I wanted to start developing a set of scripts that can test all the different points of interest we have on a machine once it is imaged. I would then like to build upon these scripts so that I can make sure that the parts of Casper that I need to work are working before we upgrade. Has anyone been developing Python scripts to test the jamf binary, or to give a system report on the health of the system post install? I'd also like to make sure that my Adobe packages installs correctly. It seems like Adobe keeps changing the format of the pkg format that AAMEE creates. I'd like to be able to test those pkg files. What about Automator? Does anyone have any tips for testing Self Service or Casper Remote?
I'd like to pool from the community and make a suite of scripts that anyone could use to test their Casper Install. From OS build testing to Configurations in Casper as well as post imaging diagnostics.
