Hi Guys

I am looking to roll out in a facility iMac's with ATTO Thunderlink 10G BaseT adaptors. What I am wondering is if on the clients am I able to use non internal NIC's to establish a PXE boot session with a Casper Server. I am thinking this is not possible and suspect that the iMac EFI would only be looking at the internal 1G NIC's. But thought it might be a good idea to see if anyone else has done this.

I I don't think it will work. I bought a bunch of USB to 10/100 Ethernet adapters to NetBoot a lab of MacBook Air's with DeployStudio. The adapters looked exactly the same as Apple's minus the Apple logo. They needed a driver to work in Mac OS X. They would not NetBoot though which is all I really needed them to do :-/

If anyone is looking the Monoprice USB 2.0 Ethernet adapter worked for me out of the box, its only 10/100, but for 5$ its not bad
