Hi all - we may be required to install the latest version of Tomcat 8 on our JSS per internal audit. We are running JSS 9.63 on Windows 2008 R2 and would likely plan to upgrade to 9.72 as well...
I know that JAMF officially recommends Tomcat 7 - but does anyone have any good/bad experience running 8?
Thanks,
Tim

I haven't tried setting up a JSS with Tomcat 8… sounds fun. If you have a Windows VM you can spin up I'd say there's no harm in making yourself a test/dev JSS to try it out.

Hi Tim
We have recently upgraded to JAMFPro 10 keeping Tomcat 7, resulting in Sluggish performance of WebApp & intermittent crashing , would you please be able to guide us to upgrade to Tomcat 8 , Its a customized installation , just need to know which files to Keep.
