Has anyone else seen this error when trying to install a printer? I even used the cups admin page to install the printer, it installed but the printer is not responding. Of course no problem from Windoze. I thought it could possibly be permissions on the /Library/Printers. I adjusted them to include everyone when I went to install the printer I got a window saying the permissions had to be repaired
Not sure if you are working with a HP printer,but I saw this yesterday on an older HP Envy. Tried to use lpd as I normally do, no dice, switched to hp jetdirect profit Larry
