User-Level Managed Preferences Not Applying Properly

Hey JAMF Nation,

I've been banging my head against a wall trying to get some new lab machines tweaked to my liking via Casper. I seem to have everything in place, but the Managed Preferences that are "user-level at every login" or "User-level enforced" are not applying. "Computer-level enforced" are working without issue. Login hooks are configured to "create login/logout hooks", "Check for policies triggered by login or logout", and "Enable user-level Managed Preferences".

If I explicitly go into terminal on the machine and run the following command, everything applies:

/usr/sbin/jamf mcx –username yourusername -verbose

...it's just not working on login as it should. Has anyone run into these kinds of issues? Any thoughts on what I can do to get this up and running?

FWIW, we're running JSS 9.65 and the machines I'm working with are 10.9.

Thanks all!

Are the accounts local or directory users? If I remember right, the User-Level managed preferences doesn't work with local accounts.

AD, but I also have a local admin account. Settings aren't applying to either type.
