Hello Team,

Is anybody facing issue with parallel's mass deployment tool (Parallels Desktop Business Edition mass deployment package v2.0.0)

I am using this version ParallelsDesktop-13.1.0-43108.dmg

pd available at below location
http://download.parallels.com/desktop/tools/pd-autodeploy.zip

This mass deployment tool does not trigger the DMG which is kept at "Parallels Desktop Autodeploy.pkg/Parallels Desktop DMG/ParallelsDesktop-13.1.0-43108.dmg"

Odd since I just updated Parallels Desktop Business Edition mass deployment package v2.0.0 with ParallelsDesktop-13.1.0-43108.dmg and it works fine. I would suggest confirming you are not using an old deploy.cfg file from a previous version of Parallels Desktop Business Edition mass deployment package. I just followed the guide from parallels for version 13:

http://download.parallels.com/desktop/v13/docs/en_US/Parallels-Desktop-Business-Edition-Administrators-Guide.pdf

I would also confirm that the ParallelsDesktop-13.1.0-43108.dmg isn't damage by just running the installer to see if you get the same error.

Make sure the license key is an actual volume license key.

Might want to peruse this thread too for some tidbits.

Hello matin.logmein,

I installed a source which is download from parallels (ParallelsDesktop-13.1.0-43108.dmg) and there was no errors and application is working with a charm.

I have gone through the admin guide. I am not using any old files with new mass deployment tool. I am just placing the dmg file in below location and double click the "Parallels Desktop Autodeploy.pkg" for the installation. I am not including licence key.

Parallels Desktop Autodeploy.pkg/Parallels Desktop DMG/

Is anything do apart from this to work "Parallels Desktop Autodeploy.pkg"

Thanks

Vijendra,

After testing my confirmed working parallels desktop autodeploy.pkg, I found that if I remove my confirmed working liciense key from the deploy.cfg then I can reproduce the error that you originally posted about. Why are you not including a liciense key?

Hello matin,

We are following this standard till date. But for newer version of mass deployment tool is not allowing us to exclude the serial key and complete the package.

I will let you know the result once i get our volume licence key.

Thanks
Vijendra
