We've always had "require authentication" check for disk images to prevent students from installing software. They could download whatever they wanted and then just drag it to their desktop or documents instead of applications and they could still run it fine. The require authentication box worked up to 10.10 I believe but I've never gotten it to work for 10.11+ and was curious if this is the case for anyone else? It always displays the "no mountable filesystem" message instead of prompting for admin credentials.
