I found this option to disable the modification of wallpapers in a configuration profile. So I built a custom CP to test it out and it still allowed me to modify the wallpaper....anyone else played with this before?

+4Works for me, it should remove that option within settings entirely. What version iOS? and also obvious question but you made sure the device is supervised?
+21It's possible it's sticking the wallpaper in place by periodically sending out a new one. Can you modify the wallpaper, then send it a blank push and inventory update and see what happens?
I think that's how it works with setting device names.
