I am setting up a new instance of Jamf Pro 10. In the past, we have always used the built in Jamf CA for all cert needs. I was wondering if I should bother setting up and using the Symantec CA, but I don't know what benefits this provides over using the built in functionality.
I'm no expert on certificates and that side of the IT admin world.
Would using the Symantec CA provide any extra layer of security compared to the Jamf CA?
Thanks

Biggest benefit is Machine Certificate Lifecycle management will be handled by Symantec CA. JAMF's built-in CA is not very capable of doing CLM.
