What to do when a config profile that was edited fails?

Hi Folks,

If a config profile is edited and then starts to fail because (the profile already exists) or something to that extent what is the fix? Is it to delete the profile and re-push?

Think of the SSO Extension config profile.

Are all machines failing or some?

You could edit the profile and do nothing then save it. You will be prompted to either send to new machines in scope or all. So choose all. It will overwrite the previous one.

You could also remove all machines from the scope or machines failing and save. After a short while they will have had the profile removed and then you could add them back to the scope
