We are migrating our Macs from WorkspaceONE (air watch) and utilize user level certificates for Wireless and Ethernet profiles using an MSPKI.
We do not bind the systems, and the look-ups are based on their corporate ID, which is used to enroll the Macs into WSONE, however with Jamf I dont know if those pieces will show similarly, as user's local accounts are not standard (could be first or last name, both, e tc)
Now we want offer a similar network profile for users in our JamfPro (cloud) instance, would this be possible to deploy network profiles without having a specific hostname/computername or local user account name?
