winclone restore failing - target drive too small

Anyone run into this error when restoring winclone bootcamp partition?

Installing winclone.winclone...

Error: Target drive is too small for windows image

Winclone package is 6 gigs. The original partition was 40 gig (26 gig free). I've tried restoring to a 40 gig partition and a 60 gig partition without luck... same error both times.

I have seen this happen before since the image needs to expand itself and then copy itself to the HD. So plenty of free space is needed. I typically make my partition double the size of the full install. So, 20 gigs installed should be at least 40gig partition. To reduce the size of your image you can also run a chkdsk /r before sealing it up in Windows. I haven't done any imaging with WDS or Vista/7 yet but I hear the whole sysprep thing is now gone.
