Shared Ipads without Gast-Mode

I am currently experiencing issues with our Shared iPads. In Shared Mode, it is no longer possible to log in with a guest account. The button and the option on the lock screen no longer appear. This affects both previously configured iPads and newly set up devices.
I found a temporary solution by enabling "Allow only temporary sessions" in the Shared profile. However, this prevents users from signing in with an Apple ID, which limits the usefulness of this fix.
Initially, we suspected the issue was related to the iOS 18 update. However, the same problem occurs on iPads running iOS versions 17.5.1 and 17.6.1, indicating that the issue is not specific to iOS 18.

I've done some further investigation on the issue. If the option "Await final configuration" is not enabled in the Automated Device Enrollment profile, the guest mode button reappears, but it disappears again shortly afterward.

However, if I disconnect the device from Wi-Fi after the profile installation, the guest mode remains active, allowing me to log in and out as many times as I want without issues.

I believe the problem lies with the TemporarySessionConfigurationProfile that Jamf installs. After this profile is applied, the guest mode button disappears again. Interestingly, I am not automatically logged out from guest mode when this happens.
