The Technical Architects' primary role is to partner within the Apple Practice and work alongside Offering Management, Delivery Services, and Account Executives to build the Apple Device Management Service and achieve sales goals. This position will develop technical documents and whitepapers, evaluate technical requirements of new sales opportunities and present technical solutions to meet the needs of prospective and existing customers. The position works both remotely and on-site.
Alongside Offering Management, build and develop the technical architecture/documentation for the new Apple Device Management Service Offering.
Technical point of contact for prospective and existing customers, partners, and sales teams throughout the sales process.
Demonstrate the business benefits of Service products to prospective and existing customers and small groups at events via both online tools and on-site.
Work with sales teams to understand customer requirements and create solutions with unique business value, to ultimately drive customer success.
Identify and understand the ongoing service needs of customers and recommend solutions in terms of support and service engagements.
Support targeted evaluations, proof of concept, and pilot implementations of Apple Device Management Service solutions to timely success.
Support revenue and billing goals while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Special projects as assigned by Offering Management.
Attends staff meetings and completes mandatory in-services and requirements and competency evaluations on time.
Maintains current knowledge in present areas of responsibility (i.e., self-education, attends ongoing educational programs).
2- 4 years of technical sales, support or services experience (Required)
2+ years of exposure to MDM products (Jamf, Intune, WorkspaceOne etc.), related architecture tools and relevant competing solutions (Preferred)
2+ years' experience selling to multiple levels within a complex organization. (Preferred)
Strong interpersonal and organizational, and customer service skills.
Professional manner and self-presentation when face-to-face with customers and partners.
Excellent written and oral communication skills and proficiency in presentation.
Proficient with Apple technology (macOS, iOS, tvOS) and Mobile Device Management (MDM) within a medium to large-scale Apple environment.
Proficient knowledge of the Jamf products and related architecture and tools, as well as relevant competing solutions. (Jamf Certification Preferred)
Ability to travel for on-site demonstrations, events, implementations, and other duties.
Ability to work independently in the field and as part of a team.
Experience supporting sales teams within a complex organization.
