See below for project details.  MDM Rollout & Implementation Project Summary Overview: This project involves the implementation of the Jamf Mobile Device Management suite to enhance the security and protection of company-owned assets and end-user mobile devices against evolving threats. Scope: The project includes setting up and configuring various MacOS mobile device management tools such as Apple Business Manager, Jamf Pro, Jamf Connect, Jamf Protect, and Jamf Threat Defense. Additionally, it covers the centralization of identity and access management through Google Workspace Directory. Objectives: 1. Establish governance for company-owned Apple devices within Apple Business Manager and link them to the Jamf MDM server. 2. Automate the enrollment of mobile devices within Jamf Pro, utilizing a "supervised" management approach. 3. Deploy Jamf Endpoint Protection tools, including Jamf Protect and Jamf Threat Defense. 4. Centralize user identity and access management using Google Workspace Directory, facilitated by Jamf Connect and federated Apple Managed IDs. Project Deliverables: 1. Import all owned mobile devices into Apple Business Manager and associate them with the designated MDM server. 2. Configure Google Workspace Directory users, user attributes, organizational units, and groups for seamless integration with Jamf Pro and Jamf Connect. 3. Enroll MacOS devices in Jamf Pro, initially through user-initiated enrollment, to assess device configurations and plan for a supervised management approach. 4. Develop, test, and implement Jamf Configuration Profiles to enforce security policies, covering aspects such as software management, encryption, storage, user lockout settings, and updates. 5. Configure and deploy Jamf Endpoint Protection tools, including setting scanning schedules, quarantine behavior, and scan result notifications. 6. Integrate and roll out Jamf Connect with Google Workspace Directory to streamline identity and access management processes. 7. Provide user education materials and training resources, including technical configuration documentation, standard operating procedures, and other essential content to ensure a seamless transition for ongoing management and support of the mobile device management platform. This project is aimed at enhancing security and management efficiency by implementing and configuring the Jamf Mobile Device Management suite and related tools.
