Update 19 December 2024: Standard cloud upgrades are scheduled for the weekend of 20–21 December (details below). We appreciate your patience.


Today we are releasing Jamf Pro 11.12; highlights include:

  • New Restrictions for Computers and Mobile Devices
    New restrictions include support for bypass screen capture alert and the ability to restrict Apple Intelligence features.
  • Computer Extension Attributes Page Redesign
    The redesign features improvements to search, filtering, and display of computer extension attributes.

 

For additional information on what's included in this release, review the release notes via the Jamf Learning Hub. See the latest release notes video for a brief overview of new features and enhancements.

 

To access new versions of Jamf Pro, log into Jamf Account with your Jamf ID. The latest version is located in the Products section under Jamf Pro.

 

Cloud Upgrade Schedule

Your Jamf Pro server, including any free sandbox environments, will be updated to Jamf Pro 11.12.1 based on your hosted data region below. Review this guide if you need assistance identifying the Hosted Data Region of your Jamf Cloud instance.

If you would like to upgrade manually, log in to Jamf Account and select Jamf Pro Info >; click Upgrade on the appropriate instance. Note: This capability is not available for GovCloud environments and is disabled for all instances one day prior to when the scheduled standard upgrades begin.

May I ask what the newly identified PI is?  We updated our cloud instance to get around the PI where pkgs in prestage enrollments was broken so... what new thing did we break?  Thanks.

I believe this is the PI in question:

PI123933 - Jamf Pro 11.12 fails to display the scope for newly created deployable objects and cannot save various scoping changes for existing objects.
