Monday
Today we are releasing a new version of Jamf Pro; highlights include:
New Restrictions and Skip Keys for Computers and Mobile Devices
New settings include restrictions for Apple Intelligence reports, smart replies in Mail, summarization in Safari and Notes, and calling and messaging app modification. New Skip Keys in PreStage Enrollments include Software Update and Safety and Handling.
For additional information on what's included in this release, review the release notes via the Jamf Learning Hub.
Note: There will be no mass upgrades of Standard Cloud environments for this release.
To access new versions of Jamf Pro, log into Jamf Account with your Jamf ID. The latest version is located in the Solutions section under Jamf Pro.
Out of curiosity, is there a reason this wasn't included in the update you just deployed this weekend? It really feels like this should have been deployed to cloud instances before macOS 15.4 and iOS 18.4
Is there a reason for why the option to upgrade an instance to v11.15.2 from within Jamf Account is grey out, preventing an upgrade from being initiated?
This issue is present across multiple instances I manage, across multiple accounts.
Would like to know the same as @SlipStream.
how can you both disable mass update of standard cloud and disable manuel upgrade of standard cloud?
I've previously been able to upgrade the sandbox server but not the production server from the Jamf Account. Now I can't upgrade either of them. As the folks above mentioned, both are greyed out with a 'no entry' 🚫 sign shown when hovered over. 🤔 Just have to wait I guess.
@SlipStream @DBrowning Thank you for reaching out. The issue preventing some 11.15.2 cloud upgrades in Jamf Account has been resolved. We appreciate your patience.
Thanks @PCalomeni
@McAwesome - The keys introduced in 11.15.2 were originally planned for Jamf's 11.16.0 release. However, following Apple's updates last week, we prioritized a maintenance release to align Jamf's support with Apple's upcoming GA release.
I kan now upgrade to 11.15.2. Thanks for your service
@McAwesome Probably because features were not available until 15.4 was released on 3/31.
@scottmorabito Apple announced the keys a couple weeks ago when the betas for 15.4 and 18.4 started so that's a moot point at best.
