There's been a bit of chatter in the Jamf community regarding the deprecation notice that would remove the ability to set a static password for the PreStage local admin account and how it relates to LAPS. We hear your feedback and this deprecation is...

@McAwesome - The keys introduced in 11.15.2 were originally planned for Jamf's 11.16.0 release. However, following Apple's updates last week, we prioritized a maintenance release to align Jamf's support with Apple's upcoming GA release.

The deprecation notice will be removed in 11.4 RC

The release notes will be updated and I will advise once complete. Until then, to re-iterate, LAPS is optional and admins will continue to be able to set a static password. This has not changed from prior conversations/posts.
