Hi brains trust, Is anyone else seeing odd behaviour of the VPN menu bar
item? Sometimes my VPNs appear in there, sometimes they don't. I can't

Yeah the solution isn't too bad - password reset through the recovery
boot. Was just trying to see if we were breaking something with a
process/script here, or if the issue is well-known. Appreciate the
replies so far!
Had same issue for over 12 months or so, I gave up on trying to fix it.
I guess there is some magic going on to automatically only show VPNs
that you can connect to or something along those lines. So far seems to
be resolved in Big Sur.
For Macs, we delete the record, and then wipe the machine. We have all
M1 Macs now, so we just use configurator to do a Revive and then
restore. They then go in the drawer ready to go as a brand new machine.
