Hello,
After updating Teams using JAMF on several Macs, some users have reported an issue where the app opens, but they can’t send or receive messages. The app becomes unresponsive, and the only way to resolve it is by restarting the device. Has anyone encountered a similar problem, and if so, do you have any solutions or troubleshooting tips?

How are you updating Teams? Which OS version and version of Teams are you seeing this on? I'm using a Config Profile to manage Microsoft Auto Update settings, and run it weekly. No issues reported in my environment like what you're seeing.

Are you using the "new" Teams or the classic? I had some Teams versions that had issues after an update (from any patch method).
I had to do a full uninstall, and re-install. Later, I saw Microsoft issue a problem status, but this was resolved last week or so.

There was a Microsoft notification that some users are affected post updating the Teams, but they also confirmed that the issue is resolved,
Are you using MacApps to update Microsoft Teams, if yes I too have noticed this issue but it got fixed post-restart.
