Jamf Connect- post OS update Dock items disappearing and finder issues

This has been an ongoing issue for months with no resolution and posting here to so if anyone knows a resolution.

We know that this happens after updating from outdated OS to new version. we have tried turning off FDE, no installing AV at all, network wise - hotspot, ,home and corp network just to see what happens. it has always been same. we gotten to the point where all of our automations are self service just to make sure nothing is causing a issue.

We do have an ongoing ticket but no available after numerous back and forth. Anyone out there knows anything about this?

this has happened on v2.15-2.17 jamf connect.

We're losing dock items too. I have a policy to remove Apple TV and Apple music from the dock, and add chrome and Adobe CC to the beginning. Everything was working fine, but now launchpad, keynote, are slowly disappearing.

We're using Jamf Connect and we're on 2.18

After months, we have setup the following as a script in a policy

authchanger -reset

Once you run this, reboot and should fix. We do see issues resurface as new jamf connect version is deployed or after an update and we have to run that command via script as a policy. we typically do self service since we are remoting into users. This was set as a problem but since this is not a wide issue yet, support told me its unlikely its getting fixed anytime soon since its small groups of people. Hopefully if this gets bumped by more users, we might see it get fixed

Funny thing is, that command is running on all the devices throughout the day. We've been having issues with Jamf Connect window not present due to Jamf Connect updates, or when the OS updates... Users only see the Mac OS login window. Deploying that command and restarting is fixing that issue, but the dock icons disappearing issue remains. What's really strange is some dock items are completely gone, while others have a question mark. And what icons are available and which ones are missing is random. There's no consistency at all. It doesn't matter what OS running either (Monterey or Ventura).
