Hey there so I have a user who turned off wifi manually before restarting his macbook air. When he got back to the SSO login for our Jamf Connect via okta. Won't let them log in since it's required to be online to work.
It showed no wifi networks available even though it let him switch a toggle switch that did nothing.
Whats weird is that if you boot to recovery mode wifi works just fine.
I just went ahead and recreated this on another laptop too. Has anyone else experienced this?

not exactly the same scenario as you, but something similar.
10.15.6, intel chip
cant see wifi either, never tested safemode though.
while not a long term solution, this temp solution seems to work
networksetup -setairportnetwork en0 NETWORKNAME PASSWORD

Hey @Zee2 - sorry you're having these issues. I'd encourage you to open a support case and reference PI-008286.
In the meantime, if you reboot and get to your boot options (or Recovery) you can enable WiFi and select a network - this selection should persist through a reboot and allow login through Connect.

You would think it would but it doesn't boot options immediately sees wifi and has no problem connecting. I did try safe mode as well but no dice there either.
