How to add a shortcut to the iPad home screen

Hi there, how can I add a shortcut, to open  the camera in QR scan mode, to the home screen? 

Would be nice if it would had a custom icon too.

from months ago asking for this, you can reference mine with yours to try to get movement.

Why would I need to refer that in an "Apple Case"? I want to now how I can achieve it with jamf. On my iPad I already have made an icon using the default app "Shortcuts". I just want to roll it out to all other devices using jamf.

I think what they're saying is it's not possible to push this out via Jamf as Apple haven't provided a framework for MDMs to do this. So they gave you an apple case to to try persuade apple to implement this. The more people that want it, the more chance it has to get implemented.

This thread seems to say that it's possible but requires students to trust the shortcut. It doesn't say how they deployed the shortcut either but seems to be possible.
