Hey all,
Can someone help me figure out a workflow to automatically push VPP2 (managed license) apps in 9.3?
Here's the current situation:
1) Configure device to enroll via DEP.
2) Configure VPP managed license apps, scope to user group
3) Configure VPP invitations, scope to user group.
4) Configure VPP App, scope to device group, set to automatically push.
Here's what happens.
Device enrolls. User gets invitation. App does not install.
In the device management tab, I see:
"Pending - Application is not available to install". I believe this is because it's trying to install the App BEFORE the user accepts the invitation. Will it eventually try to re-push it?
ANSWER: yes, after about 30 minutes I see in my management history it tries to re-push the app. Huzzah!

New issue:
if user is already enrolled in VPP, and they erase their device. When they re-enroll with MDM the apps attempt to install but fail with this error:
Please log in to your iTunes Store account
It does not appear to try to re-push after user logs in to their iTunes account.

Quick question about your workflow:
How do you have that setup? What is DEP?
Edit: nvm, figured out what DEP stands for.
