I have a JSS user on my Service Desk whose AD account has a hyphen within it, he's able to login to our current production JSS version 8.71, but not in to our test JSS version 9.0 (same copy of database before 9.x upgrade).
Every other JSS user in the same AD group can login just fine. When I search for the hyphenated username when trying to add LDAP account manually it does not show in any search from the JSS, but other accounts in the same OU do just fine.
Is there an issue with hyphens in the ldap query with 9.x or is it just 9.0?

My JSS is at 9.11 and I am able to lookup a user with a hyphen in his AD account name. Is there any reason why you haven't upgraded to 9.11 on your dev environment?
