Not sure if these types of things are super helpful. If they are cool, let
me know.
When creating a package that includes the new Adobe Acrobat 8 application,
and you'd like it to act similarly, i.e. Settings and user preferences, on
both PPC and Intel based Macs you will need to fire up the application on
machines of both processor types and save those changes.
Unlike the rest of the suite it's the only application that has separate
preferences files/folders for each processor type.
Thanks to Daniel Farnworth for the XML to disable self healing.
And to Rich Dagel, I haven't seen an issue with asking for admin related to
colorsync. I had issues related to it asking for admin to heal itself, but
that was my fault. I had the Adobe pack that includes the Office 2004
startup items for the toolbars set with the same priority as Office 2004 at
imaging (defaults). Adobe went down first and Office after and it for some
reason deleted the toolbar files in the Microsoft Office 2004 folder, which
I didn't think was suppose to happen anyway. Set Adobe with higher priority,
all better.

Thanks for the nod Craig, funnily enough we finally discovered that the XML
solution I suggested didn't work for us, just crashed Acrobat on startup
after the first few launches.
We did find another workaround/solution to use until Adobe fix this piece of
**. It's a bit long winded, so I won't post now, but if anybody's
interested in it please let me know and I'll write it up.
Cheers
Dan
