Ok I have asked this a few time now. Jamfsoftware ahs responded but still to no avail.
I am trying to install CS4 Web Premium. It all seems to work with the exception of Distiller. I won't launch without an admin ID.
I have followed some directions but they all seem to be for CS3 and things a re slightly different in CS4. Apparently just different enough that changing the self-healing files does not work for me. Perhaps I am doing something wrong. I have made Colorsync permissions changed to 777 to no avail. I even created a ColorProfiles directory in the Library folder with 777 permissions.
I am very frustrated and I am sure someone has an easy answer for me. I have Acrobat working fine and it launches fine. Distiller is my issue and I cannot seem to get it.
Hopefully someone can send me some directions or things to do with CS4 (not CS3 as it is different) or point me in the right direction.
Thank you.

We've found that installing CS4 and then applying both the Acrobat 9.0.1 and
9.1.0 updates has fixed this issue for us.
Earlier voodoo still applies:
1.) Install CS4 2.) Install updates 3.) Launch Photoshop or some other non-Acrobat application first 4.) Launch Acrobat and Distiller.
I still launch Acrobat and Distiller as an admin the first time but that may
not be necessary.
Hope this helps!
