A few of us on Mac Admins Slack (https://macadmins.slack.com) were talking about a general salary survey to see what the field looks like these days. I feel it's in everyone's best interest for salaries to be widely known when it comes to negotiating pay. The more info we have when going into those discussions the better.
Of course, salaries ranges are broad depending on a number of factors including location, experience, responsibilities, etc. If you're interested, please take a minute to fill out this survey. The results will be made available in this thread. Thanks!

After reviewing this sheet you can tell there is a wide range of pay. Though one thing I feel that is missing is other benefits besides weekly pay that the employee is given ex: monthly car/cellphone/internet/clothing allowance or cost or even health care insurance. Please remember your benefits of vacation/sick time, insurance, 401K or pension also all to your true cost to your employer. Sometimes lower might have benefits that outweigh higher pay

Definitely it's time to change job!

also, education level plays a role and weather or not it's a supervisory position (people under you).

This x100. I work in higher-ed and I know my salary is lower compared to a lot of others but I get insane time off, free tuition, great choices for health care, and a really good 401k.
However, I can't pay my bills with the benefits :P

Benefits are great. But like was said, nobody will trade vacation days for rent unfortunately. People shouldn't use benefits as an excuse to get the shaft from employers on salary. We all roughly know what we're worth or what we should be making in certain geographic areas.
