I am mass updating devices after they have been enrolled using DEP and into Jamf.
The last step is for one of the service desk staff to mass update them.
Every device going through Apple Configurator, begins the update process, but when the device installs the device goes into "Press Home to Recover". There is no restriction on paring with Apple configurator.
This happens on all our machines.
No issues in iTunes.

Are you using Apple Configurator 2?

Yes all machines are using AC 2

We're seeing some weird stuff with Configurator this week too when enrolling and updating. What version of AC2 are you on?
