Can't capture OS Package in El Capitan Beta

I'm trying to create an OS Package to test El Capitan to see what problems may occur with current software if we decide to roll it out in the next month - in composer its only letting me select an attached USB or the Recovery Partition. Is this a bug or is it just me?

Are you running Composer on the machine you're trying to copy or have you connected a machine via target disk and it is not being recognized? I was able to make a plain installer without issue via AutoDMG by just running it with a copy of the GM installer on a test machine that was running 10.11GM, so this may be an alternate route you might want to investigate.

use AutoDMG

@kingscollege as @calumhunter advises, the current release of AutoDMG can be used to created a deplorable OS.dmg from the GM.

In regards ro Composer, is this 9.8?

Thanks for the suggestions - I am not looking for an alternative. I just wanted to know if it's a compatibility issue or not.

Yes, composer is 9.8 @bentoms

@kingscollege Have you logged a call with Support?

AutoDMG works now & in many ways is better for the purpose of creating an OS.dmg.
