Composer Question

Hello,

We have a MS Office .pkg and a volume license file that should be saved in the /library folder. I wanted to know if it is possible, and if so how would we create a single.dmg out of these two files that would install MS Office and then save the volume license file in the appropriate location using composer.

Thank you in advance for any and all help.

MS no longer supports the manual copying of that volume license file. The best method of getting your installs to be licensed is to deploy the Volume License installer as a policy. That will run the proper license file creation that MS supports.

@AVmcclint beat me to it. That being said, the MS Office 2016 installer from MS is a pretty good one. If you install it and the volume license package read about mau4 on http://macadmins.software (a site run by @pbowden , a Microsoft employee), you have a jamf friendly solution for deploying, licensing and patching MS Office.
