I created a policy coped to all managed computers enabling the following:
Shutdown
Restart
Eject
Connect to Server
Find Folder
Level is set to Computer Level and it would initially apply when I do a reboot. I would run sudo jamf policy and it would state that no policies were not found. I then run sudo jamf recon then reboot. Once rebooted the shutdown/restart would show but not connect to server/find folder. Then if I reboot I would connect to server/find folder but not shutdown/restart. Then other profiles on the computer would not have either displayed or just a few of the settings.
Basically I can not get the policy to consistently apply. I also had "other..." disabled on the same policy and that would inconsistently disappear as well. But when I created a specific policy to disable "other..." it consistently applies. So I then created a policy just to enable shutdown/restart. After running the recon command then rebooting they show up consistently after 3 reboots. But if I were to run the recon command again then reboot are shutdown/restart are missing.
Please keep in mind that I am new to this and have been using the knowledge base provided here and my own experience.
