Corrupt Configuration Profile?

One of our configuration profiles is now not editable. If you open it up to edit it nothing is visible, and if scope is selected we get this lovely error:

Internal Server Error
An error occured while processing HTTPRequestAction 'EditOSXConfigurationProfile': java.lang.NumberFormatException: null

Is this recoverable?

Same thing happened to one of my profiles. I had to delete and re-create it. Luckily I had recorded all the settings. Would be nice to find out why it happened.
