I have a CS4 premium (2 Disc) installer that I have combined into a
single DMG by following the Combining Multi-Disc Adobe CS4 Installs on
JAMF's knowledge base. The problem that I run into is when I add this
DMG to Casper Admin and check the box in the info tab that says this
file is a disk image containing an installer. Casper Admin scans the DMG
and marks it as an Adobe Update package instead of a Adobe Installer. Is
there a way around this that anyone may know of?
Thanks,

There is an article on the JAMF KB listing how Casper detrmines if the file is an adobe installer (existence of certain files, etc).
I had the same problem but found that I had an international version of CS4. The only way for me to fix this was to contact adobe and get the US English (ie not intl english) version from them via download.

We have a contract with Adobe and if you have Access to login to their website to download your media the DVD can be downloaded in one file for you. Not sure if you have that though.
