Hi,
Does anybody know where the settings are located for deferring major and minor updates separately. The one's mentioned here https://support.apple.com/en-gb/guide/mdm/mdm02df57e2a/web as Defer major releases and
Defer minor releases.
I only found deferring updates here: Configuration Profiles > Restrictictions > Functionality, but this is 1 profile which I think should be 2 seperate ones.
With Monterey around the corner being able to defer a major release separately from minor updates would be really helpful.
Thanks, Tim

Good news! According to the release notes of Version 10.32.0 https://docs.jamf.com/10.32.0/jamf-pro/release-notes/New_Features_and_Enhancements.html the keys are in Jamf Pro.

@timtimtim Are you asking about settings in a Configuration Profile to defer major and minor release separately in macOS versions prior to Monterey? That's not likely to happen as Apple doesn't back port new Configuration Profile options to older versions of macOS.

I'll try to explain it in an example:
I would like to:
Defer a major update (from Big Sur to Monterey) for 90 days
Defer a minor update (from 11.5.2 to 11.5.3) for 10 days.
I don't see the option in the standard Jamf Configuration profiles, but to my understanding there are MDM profilekeys that can do this (forceDelayedMajorSoftwareUpdates)

@timtimtim Sorry, I didn't notice those payload keys are listed as supported in macOS 11.3 and later. You are correct that the Jamf Pro GUI doesn't currently support those, nor does the current iMazing Profile Editor release.
You _could_ try exporting a Configuration Profile using the old restriction key, manually editing it to add the new keys, and then import it back into Jamf Pro. Just be sure to only target Macs running Big Sur 11.3 or later.

Thanks @sdagley, I'll figure something out. Odd that this is not implemented yet, would seem like a small thing (but what do I know...)
