Deploy and Launch an App

Hi, we need to package 2 files (pdf and a video file) but once packaged we need to deploy this to our Macs. How is that done with Casper? When I look at our JAMF Web Site I only see a few Macs showing up. I know we have more but I don't think they are inventoried. How can I know for sure how many Mac's are inventoried and able to receive deployments?

I would recommend looking through all the documentation that's available to you here on the website. Once you've enrolled the various macs (via recon, imaging or self enrollment) they will appear in inventory and hence, be available to receive packages in various ways. Once again, I recommend that you read through the administrators guide. JAMF's documentation is spectacular and will answer all of these questions for you. To be direct you will need to do the following

1) Make sure that your macs are enrolled
2) Package your PDF and Video using composer or your favorite package creation utility
3) Upload that package to the JSS (usually via Casper Admin)
4) Create the policy to deploy your package

Once you understand the Casper suite it is very very easy.
